If you’re familiar with many of the restaurants in Liverpool and you already know your favourites, from amongst the city’s great selection, then the news of a new menu is probably music to your ears.

There are lots of wonderful places to eat in Liverpool but Alma de Cuba is one of the few offering up traditional Cuban food and cocktails for your expectant taste buds – and we just launched our brand new menu. If you love us already then it is certain to delight.

It contains many of the flavours that have made us so popular over the years, with a few new surprises to keep you interested, because even the best relationships need to add new spice from time to time.

New from the top Cuban restaurant in Liverpool

So, what’s on our plate? Well, it’s all had an overhaul. From our lunch menu, to our a la carte, to our Sunday Gospel Brunch menu, you’ll notice a smattering of new dishes throughout. Our cocktails may see us packed out every weekend but it’s the variety of our dishes that make us one of the favourite places to eat in Liverpool for many people.

Here are a few example meals from each of our new menus. Amongst them, many unique dishes that you won’t find in any other restaurants in Liverpool.

Lunch menu

Start with smashed avocado and pico de gallo or beetroot and orange cured salmon, before moving onto slow braised jerk rubbed chicken drumsticks and thighs or oven roasted okra and coconut curry. Round off with toasted banana bread or classic key lime pie.

Evening menu

Roasted plum tomato soup is a warming way to begin a meal at one of your favourite places to eat in Liverpool, closely followed by a second course of pan roasted sea bass or hanging summer vegetable kebab. Desserts of wild berry flan or pina colada cheesecake are complemented by a range of after dinner drinks including Cuban coffee, cafe Cubano.

Our Sunday brunch menu includes breakfast options, as well as the more traditional roast dinners with, as you might expect from the top Cuban restaurant in Liverpool, a distinct Latin American twist.
